I may or may not have gone on a wildly ill-advised eBay shopping spree. Went a little bonkers. Grabbed two small lots of ’61 Topps base set. I’ve decided to start building the set. Found a good deal on a lot of ’78 Topps, which I also may start building. Why not? Build all the sets. Amirite? I’m adding two pieces to my Phillies’ minor league team set with the 2015 IronPigs Choice & 1995 Reading Phillies team issue. Finally, going through Mike Schmidt binder, I realized that I didn’t have the 1987 Donruss base, just that year’s Highlights version. So that, and a couple other more post-retirement releases are on their way.
I’m also getting into the swing with Comc. I’m focusing on Phillies cards. Found some good deals on some Phillies rookie cards, including Tom Qualters, who was kind enough to sign an autograph for me. I’m also picking up as many prospects as I can, including a bunch of Alec Bohm, Spencer Howard and Bryson Stott.
